The Standard Black Activ‘Facade® is a solution developed by Activ‘Glass that aims to equip all buldings with solar technology while applying standard aluminum cladding structural techniques familiar to all facade installers and easily adaptable by standard photovoltaic system installers.

It is a fully integrated solution based on an aluminum facade cladding cassette system developed in close collaboration with SCHWEIZER: FSP-H System (SCH).

The BIPV modules are structuraly bonded to a suspended facade system used for exterior rainscreen cladding of residential, commercial and industrial facilities. The mounting system is either open fastening system or a hidden fastening system. The aluminium cassetes are 2 mm thickness, powder coated or anodized. The BIPV glass is a glass/backsheet module using crystalline Silicone PV cells with the dedicated Terra Cotta texture and colour. The electrical power output is 181 Wp for this BIPV cassette reference.

The Standard Black Activ‘Facade is delivered for FREE to the BIMsolar users community as virtual BIPV and BAPV modules within the BIMsolar libraries.
